Welcome back to another Fabulous Find. This week I’ve got Fan # 1, which comes from Chris Padovano and was published in 1977. It was actually a continuation of The Fans of Central Jersey fanzine, which had just folded. Chris had been working on issue # 21, when the club & zine went under, so he self-published this zine, using contributions already in hand. Cover is by C C Beck!
Beside the Christmas cover, Chris had quite a few other Christmas drawings from various artists. Here are just a couple to whet your appetite.
Obviously the above is Red Sonja and the Wizard (Frank Thorne himself) drawn by Frank Thorne.
Next up is E-Man, drawn by this co-creator, Joe Staton.
